Lo Grafion

Made by marrying Merlot and Tempranillo, this wonderful red from the south has a lot of character. A highly recommended red is a wine cellar must have.

Vine variety: Merlot et Tempranillo
Colour: A deep purple-black.
Fragrance: Coffee, smoky, earthy, undergrowth, leather, vanilla.
Taste: Strong, full-bodied, fruity, warm, strong tanins, long after taste. Should be left to age for 2 to 3 years to allow it to reach its full potential.
Alcohol: 13.5% vol.
Ideal serving temperature: 16-18°C in a carafe.
Preservation: 5 to 10 years.
Aging: Left to over ferment in barrels.
Culinary accompaniments: Beef fillet, beef ribs, lamb, wild boar, game, tartar, meat fondue, cheese tray, lamb stew, braised red meat, stuffed quail, entrecote steak.
